The location was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to the main center for dining and shopping. The breakfast selection was impressive, especially the waffle maker, which was a highlight for us. Although the room was small, it provided all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The hotel's proximity to several attractions and pickup locations for tours made our sightseeing experience convenient and enjoyable.

The hotel is in an excellent location, nestled in a parallel street to the main shopping street in the city center. This means that all the key sights are within walking distance, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with wonderful bathrooms and basic amenities provided. I particularly liked the fact that my room had a single bed, which was at a reduced rate compared to other rooms. The hotel also offers a wide variety of food for breakfast, with gluten-free options available. The breakfast is served from 7-10 and has a large selection of delicious items to choose from.

The breakfast was tasty with a good variety of options. We were also happy to find out that this hotel was near the Port, which made it easy to access different tours and boat trips.

My recent stay at Skuggi Hotel was fantastic. I stayed for 5 nights and was amazed by the hotel's great location. It was just a stone's throw away from the bustling shopping street and within walking distance to the city center. The modern and comfortable hotel provided the added bonus of free garage parking, a rare find in the city center. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. The overall experience surpassed my expectations and I felt like I was staying at a 4-star hotel rather than a 3-star.

I was devastated that the coffee at breakfast was not an exclusive, authentic Icelandic blend. How dare they serve a long, American-style coffee instead of a delightful espresso!
